Join the conversation #MyBreastsMyStory

Creating conversations around breast health.

#MyBreastsMyStory

We will bring together people young and old, from diverse backgrounds into conversations alongside patients, doctors, charities,  support groups, health professionals, medical students, artists and creatives.  We do this through exhibitions, the documentary, short films, workshops, creative writing, talks, events and social media.

Ros

“Coming through breast cancer, not just once, but twice gave me a chance to reset and ask myself is there something else I want to be doing? So I decided to go back to university and study fashion management and produce my own bra for ladies who've been through the same surgery as I have.”

Alex

“When I was diagnosed with cancer, I suddenly started appreciating things the smell of rain. And I remember thinking, if I die, I'm never going to smell that smell again and ever since then I've looked at rain differently. I'm not so cross with it.”

Annette

“Some women who have smaller boobs might say that they want bigger boobs, but when you’ve got them, you feel quite uncomfortable and a little bit on show.”

Christen

“I talk about joy a lot, and it's the joy of being able to talk with my son and to have these really light hearted but serious conversations about it.”
